At ChiroAid, we take great pride in providing the finest chiropractic wellness care to our patients. Below is a description of the different chiropractic services we offer in our Bethesda office.

Chiropractic Care

We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Marina Alterman has years of training and experience in spinal adjustment. In addition to Family Chiropractic Care our office specializes in Pediatric Chiropractic (Dr. Marina Alterman is one of the only two Fellows of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (F.I.C.P.A.) practicing in Montgomery County) and Chiropractic Care for Pregnant Women.

Custom-made Orthotics (foot stabilizers) and custom-made pillows

We provide Foot Levelers Spinal Pelvic Stabilizers that are custom-made to support all three arches of the foot, which creates a balanced foundation. By correcting imbalances in the feet Foot Stabilizers correct imbalances throughout the body.

Custom-made "Exlusively Yours Pillow" allows you to have maximal individual support for the curvature of your neck  while you resting at night, working in conjunction with your chiropractic adjustments.

CranioSacral Therapy - Dynamic Body Balancing

Dynamic Body Balancing (DBB) techniques are grounded in the same in-depth cranialanatomy and physiology as other schools of training in CranioSacral Therapy. With the addition of Myofascial Unwinding and Biofield Therapies, DBB has become a beautiful form of hands-on therapy that restores balance to the mind, body and spirit. The primary difference from other similar forms of work is the application. In most cases, DBB techniques are performed with the client in the "position of injury", which is primarily seated or standing. Clients in these positions will quickly and actively allow their bodies to re-enact an injury and will move in a gentle dance with their facilitator as their tissues begin the process of restoring a state of balance and harmony within the cells of the body.

Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic massage is the manipulation of the muscles and tissues of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort and stress. Massage is one of the oldest healing arts known to humans, first records of its use dating back 3000 years. There are many styles and types of massage therapy. The benefits of massage are varied and far-reaching. Massage can:
